Conference Terms and Conditions

The Online Conference is open globally to all lash artists between 14th - 24th October.

Registering for the Conference can be from the 1st May to 13th October

The organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the conference or the competition or both and the entry fees will be refunded only in the situation of cancellation without being rescheduled by the organisers.

By purchasing the tickets for the conference, the participant agrees to all terms and conditions.

The conference will be held in English. Some speakers will hold speeches in other languages, but they will have translators.

Following payment, customers will receive tokens daily starting from the 13th October to access the Evo Lash online conference between the 14th and 24th October, recordings of all presentations will be shared 1 week after the end of the event and will be made available for 3 months.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, however, in the unlikely event of the conference being cancelled by the organisers, customers will be reimbursed to the value paid for the ticket.

The participant is allowed to use the token given on each day of the conference once, and they are unable to share it or access it from different devices simultaneously. Failing to follow this rule might result in having the access to the conference or recordings restricted without having the conference tickets being refunded.

Participants are not allowed to share more than 15 seconds of recordings from the conference on social media.

The participant is responsible for having a sufficient internet connection for devices to access the conference.

Due to availability the conference program and speakers could be adjusted by the organisers before or during the event.

Your behaviour should not be offensive towards speakers, judges, organisers, ambassadors or other participants. Failing to follow this rule might result in having the access to the conference or recordings restricted.

Only participants of the conference will be allowed to enter the competition

Event sponsors, speakers and judges may also receive your name, email, location & social media handles for marketing purposes.

You will also receive a post-event survey in order to allow us to analyse the performance of the event, demographics of attendees, reasons for non-attendance and to understand how to improve future events.
Competition Terms and Conditions

Terminology Used;

Category - (Lash artist experience level - Junior (up to 1 year experience), Advanced (1-3 years experience), Expert (over 3 years experience / trainer))

Nomination - (Classic 1:1, Light Volume 2D / 3D, dramatic volume 4D/5D, mega volume 6D+, special effects)

Only participants of the conference will be allowed to register for the competition.

Registering for the Competition can be from the 1st May to 13th October.

Upon purchasing tickets for the competition, you will receive a registration form within 48 hours that will need to be completed and returned to evolashconference@gmail.com before the 23rd October.

The submissions for the online competition must be sent to the organisers by 23:59 UK time the 23rd October. Only the works sent before the deadline will be considered for judging.

Winners will be announced on the 21st November 2024.

The models and the materials required for fulfilling the competition work are not provided by the organisers.

Organisers are reserving the right to change the deadline of registering or submitting the competition work.

A participant can register themselves for multiple competition nominations. Although a participant can only make 1 submission per nomination.

To be accepted for participation in a category, you must have a verified qualification. The proof consists of sending a photo with the first certificate obtained for the respective category. If another certificate is sent and not the first obtained the participant will be disqualified without being reimbursed the participation fee.

The Judges will not be aware of the name of the participant when judging, meaning it will be a blind Judging. Any attempt of contacting the Judges before announcing the winner, will lead to the participant being disqualified.

Any affiliation to any of the Competition Judges must be declared when submitting your work ( Judge’s student, friend, etc) so we can arrange fair judging for all competitors

It is prohibited to contact the Judges before the awards ceremony, if this rule is broken the participant will be disqualified and the participation fee will not be reimbursed.

It is prohibited to publish pictures or videos with the work sent for competition before announcing the winners.

It is prohibited to send over works which have been submitted in competitions from other events.

Points deductions will be applied where Works show models with red eyes.

In the case that the nomination and category of competition registered for has less than 4 competitors, the submissions will be automatically transferred to the next experience level within the same nomination.

The price of tickets for each category and nomination are non-refundable, only in the case of cancellation of the event.

It is the participants responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions.

Rules for images
​
Works Images must be sent to evolashconference@gmail.com as a link to a google drive folder with editing access, ensuring the following has been sent;

Name

Category (experience level - junior (1 year experience), advanced (1-3 years experience), expert (over 3 years experience / trainer))

Nominations (Classic, Light Volume 2D / 3D, dramatic volume 4D/5D, mega volume 6D+, special effects)

Pictures of the certificates related to the nomination and category selected
Only images with high quality (2000x2000 pixels) will be accepted, ANY PROCESSING, RE-TOUCHING OR MODIFYING OF THE IMAGES IS PROHIBITED. (Watermarks, logos, backgrounds with certificates or anything that identifies the participant, filters). Any participants breaking these rules will be disqualified.
Collages are not accepted.
The images of the works must have a simple background, any detail with the participant being identified will result in the participant being disqualified.
It is prohibited to use pre-made fans or apply make-up around the eye area.
Images must be clear enough (angle, zoom (maximum 1.9, macro lenses recommended for close-ups), resolution etc) for judges to score the criteria of the competition nomination and category.
Breaching any rules of the competition will result in the participant being disqualified.
Winners
The participants with the top 3 scores from each nomination / category are winners of the first 3 places.
The winners will receive a certificate, a winners trophy from the organisers and goodies from our sponsors.
The participant who enters all nominations and achieves the highest cumulative score (not the participants who placed the most) will win the lash queen award and will receive the crown, certificate, trophy & £1000.
In the unlikely event of a tied top score, participants with the top score will receive a lash queen award, crown, certificate & trophy each, with the cash prize being divided equally between the winners.

Curls which can be used - any curl or mix of curls suitable for the models

Thickness allowed for Classic 1:1 eyelash extensions- 0.07mm, 0.85mm, 0.10mm

Thickness allowed for Light Volume 2D-3D - 0.05mm, 0.06mm, 0.07mm.

Thickness allowed for Dramatic Volume 4D-5D - 0.05mm, 0.06mm, 0.07mm.

Thickness allowed for Mega Volume 6D+ - 0.03mm, 0.04mm, 0.05mm.
-
Thickness allowed for Special Effects - 0.03mm,0.04mm,0.05mm,0.06mm,0.07mm.

Length allowed for Classic, Light Volume, Dramatic Volume & Mega Volume - 4mm-11mm

Length allowed for Special Effects - 4mm - 12mm

Colours of lashes allowed - black and brown shades.

Colour of adhesive allowed - Black or transparent for any shade of brown colour

Make-up cannot be used around the eyes, but it can be used for the rest of the face

If any of the General Rules are not followed, the participant can get disqualified.
